Dubai International Holy Quran Award

The competition is organized annually through the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, and participation is open to Quran memorizers who are citizens and residents, both male and female, from all parts of the country.

    Focusing on Allah's book through memorization, recitation, and proper pronunciation.

  • Honor Distinguished Memorizers

    Honoring distinguished memorizers in the country and recognizing their achievements.

  • Equal Opportunity Competition

    Providing opportunities for both males and females to compete in memorization, recitation, and performance.

  • Encourage Muslim Youth

    Encouraging Muslim children, both citizens and residents in the country, to memorize the Holy Quran.

  • Activate Memorization Centers

    Activating students of Quran memorization centers in the country to continue memorizing the Holy Quran and prepare them for international competitions.

Competition Sections

Section 1

Complete Quran

The complete Holy Quran

Open age for nationals, maximum 22 years for residents
Section 2

20 Consecutive Parts

Twenty consecutive parts starting from either end of the Quran

Open age for nationals, maximum 18 years for residents
Section 3

10 Consecutive Parts

Ten consecutive parts starting from either end of the Quran

For nationals only, maximum 25 years
Section 4

10 Parts for Residents

Ten consecutive parts starting from either end of the Quran

For residents only, maximum 16 years
Section 5

5 Parts (Al-Ahqaf to An-Nas)

Five parts from Al-Ahqaf to An-Nas

For nationals only, maximum 18 years
Section 6

3 Parts (Al-Mujadila to An-Nas)

Three parts from Al-Mujadila to An-Nas

For nationals only, maximum 14 years
Section 7

Juz Amma

The 30th part of the Quran (Juz Amma)

For nationals only, maximum 12 years

Participation Requirements

Citizenship or Residency

Must be a citizen of the UAE or a resident in it

Age Requirement

Must comply with the age requirement according to the applied section

Previous Participation

Must not have reached the final qualifications in the same section or a higher section in a previous round
